I grew up just outside of Hershey, Pennsylvania, where the air smelled like chocolate most days.

This is where I was first introduced to sewing and crocheting by my grandmothers and mother.

Since then, I have lived in:

New York City, NY
Milan, Italy
Shanghai, China
I have either studied and/or worked in fashion in each place. I currently live in New York City.
Below is a map of where I lived and what I did related to fashion.
Design beliefs are themes or concepts that I explore repeatedly. They make up the aesthetic of my knitwear designs. At least one of them always shows up in everything I design. Many designs incorporate all three themes.

These are concepts that I have been exploring since I started in design about twenty years ago.
As I have designed through the years, stepped back, and looked at my work, I have identified three recurring elements.
